Impurity Removal & REE Precipitation

A complex sequence of purification steps is typically required in the processing of REE, in order to arrive at a chemical concentrate suitable for REE separation.  While the application of using ion exchange, precipitation and solvent extraction for the removal of impurites and actinides will be explored, R&D will also focus on novel approaches and technologies.
